A beautiful morning: The ruling / Wandering and Wondering Days

from The Dream Reaver by Maroon(ed)

/

lyrics

Sunbeams dancing on the streets
Life smiles in front of me
Like laughing children by my side
I feel a smooth joy deep inside

Mornings like this make me think
‘bout the things I really need
The sun is here instead of night
I feel a smooth joy deep inside

Grass is playing with my feet
Morning dew covers the leaves
It’s beauty only for my eyes
I feel a smooth joy deep inside

But the night is loyal partner
Always comes and fills my pain
Like a hopeless sterile rain

(bis)

When frozen darkness
Replaces the day
Stars keep on singing
Though I am deaf
Sing song of dreamings
I cannot dance

How can I hear them
When I’m alone?

When won’t I need
Another soul?

When will I dream
Dream on my own?

And those were wandering and wondering days. Our little friend woke up one morning after one of those white, endless nights with something new on his mind. He knew what to do with his life. He was gonna spend his life time searching and looking and waiting for a golden and perfect and golden and perfect spheric dream to live it in. He touched hundreds of skins night after night, but no golden dream was found. Only a mix of desires, nightmares, and wills instead. But one night he had a chat with a drunk old man and he said:

Drunk man: “Do you wanna hear a story?. It’s about a man that can make your dreams come true. You've just gotta be cruel enough to find him..to find him..Do you wanna know his name?. His name is The Lorring, The Lorring, The Lorring….”
